East
Yankees (10-2): For the fourth time in franchise history, the Yankees advanced to 10-2 after Nestor Cortes and Carlos Rodón allowed zero earned runs in their starts. Juan Soto hit his first homer in the Bronx on Monday.
Red Sox (7-4): One of two hits in Tuesday’s loss came from Tyler O’Neill, who hit his sixth homer of the season over the Green Monster. Trevor Story will have shoulder surgery, likely ending his season.
Orioles (6-4): On Tuesday, Corbin Burnes allowed just two hits through seven innings of work, becoming the first Oriole to go 6+ innings while allowing just two hits in two out of three of their first starts with the team. Baseball’s No. 1 prospect, Jackson Holliday, was called up to the show late Tuesday evening.
Rays (6-6): After losing on Monday, mainly due to five earned runs allowed by Zach Eflin, the Rays evened up the series on Tuesday night. José Caballero extended his on-base streak to 10 games, going 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs in the 6-4 win over the Angels.
Blue Jays (6-6): They sealed their first series win of the season with two wins over Seattle, led by great starting pitching performances and a 431ft bomb from Bo Bichette. 💣️
Central
Guardians (8-3): After winning their fifth straight game Monday night, Logan Allen opened up Tuesday, giving up three runs before recording his first out, eventually leading to a Cleveland loss.
Tigers (7-4): Stellar defense kept Detroit in the game on Tuesday, spurring a four-run ninth-inning comeback to avoid the sweep of the two-game series with the Pirates.
Royals (7-4): Salvador Perez secured the win in the bottom of the 10th with a game-winning double against the Astros on Tuesday night, extending Kansas City’s winning streak to five.
Twins (3-6): Minnesota ran into a buzz saw Tuesday night as Tyler Glasnow had a career day. They look to get their first home win of the season on Wednesday and avoid getting swept by the Dodgers. You have to see this diving catch Byron Buxton made in center field. 👀
White Sox (2-9): After getting shut out on Monday, Chicago came into Tuesday with an MLB-low 16 runs through 10 games but managed to score 5 in the first inning and go on to win the game.
West
Angels (6-5): Homering in his third straight game, Mike Trout now has an MLB-leading six home runs. Unfortunately, that tater wasn’t enough to win, as the Halos will look to take the series this afternoon.
Rangers (6-5): A five-run first inning on Monday night wasn’t enough to secure the win, forcing Texas to split the four-game series with the Astros. José Leclerc gave up a two-run shot in the top of the ninth on Tuesday for the team’s third straight loss.
Athletics (4-7): Shea Langeliers led the A’s to victory Tuesday night with three homers, the third of which was the go-ahead 2-run blast in the 9th to take the lead and secure the win. 💥
Astros (4-8): After a 10th-inning loss on Tuesday night to the Royals, the Astros called up their top pitching prospect, Spencer Arrighetti, who will make his debut today. In part due to recent news that Framber Valdez was placed on the IL with elbow inflammation.
Mariners (4-8): Luis Castillo and George Kirby put this offense too far behind to catch up, allowing a combined nine runs through nine innings, losing the last two games in Toronto.

National League
East
Braves (7-3): The bullpen let the Mets come back to win Monday night. Ronald Acuña Jr. stepped up in a big way Tuesday night, swiping three bags and scoring three runs in a win. 📈
Phillies (5-6): Spencer Turnbull tossed six scoreless innings on Monday, but the Phils had to go to extra innings to secure the win. Going 0-8 with runners in scoring position, this team was unable to score a run in Tuesday’s loss.
Nationals (5-6): Winning back-to-back games, Washington will look to complete the three-game sweep against the Giants tonight. Arm injuries continue to plague the league, as Josiah Gray was placed on the IL.
Mets (4-7): Brandon Nimmo hit two homers, helping pave the way to a win on Monday night, but Pete Alonso’s three-run shot Tuesday wasn’t enough to get the win.
Marlins (1-11): After winning National League Manager of the Year last year, Skip Schumaker will likely leave the club to seek other opportunities after this season. There’s not much going great here, as the Marlins dropped the first two games in New York.
Central
Pirates (9-3): David Bednar came into Tuesday's game with a two-run lead but surrendered four runs, blowing his third save opportunity of the season. Edward Olivares hit two taters in Tuesday’s loss.
Brewers (7-3): Three errors on Monday night led to a series-opening loss against the Reds. On Tuesday, Joe Ross logged his first win since 2021 after two Tommy John surgeries, as Christian Yellich added three RBIs.
Cubs (7-4): Led by Christopher Morel and his first career grand slam, the Cubs took down the Padres on Tuesday, allowing only 1 run after allowing an eight-run comeback on Monday night.
Reds (6-5): On Monday night, Elly De La Cruz hit a homer 450ft out of the park and followed it up with a homer inside of the park, going home-to-home in under 15 seconds. 🏃♂️ 💨
Cardinals (6-6): Sonny Gray was definitely ready to make his first start of the season on Tuesday. He pitched 5 scoreless innings as the Cards rolled past the Phillies.
West
Dodgers (10-4): Tyler Glasnow became the first pitcher to strike out 14 on fewer than 90 pitches since pitches started being tracked in 1988. Needless to say, the Dodgers won that game and Monday nights as they look to finish the sweep against Minnesota today.
Padres (6-8): After being down 8-0 on Monday night, the Padres had a seven-run sixth inning, coupled with a two-run homer by Fernando Tatis in the bottom of the eighth, to tie their franchise record for the largest comeback. They couldn’t spark the same energy on Tuesday, as they tallied just four hits in a loss to the Cubs.
Diamondbacks (5-7): Manager Torey Lovullo got his 500th career win on Tuesday night as the Dbacks snapped their five-game losing streak, thanks in part to Corbin Carroll’s first career leadoff home run.
Giants (4-8): A combined 1-16 with runners in scoring position through the first two games of the series against Washington is the main reason this team has lost the last two. 😬
Rockies (3-9): Jake Bird logged his first career save Monday night, saving the Rockies from a bases-loaded situation in the top of the ninth inning. They’ll play a series rubber match against the Dbacks this afternoon.
🥔 Today’s Tater
Make sure you watch Elly De La Cruz and Fernando Tatis Jr.’s home runs. They belong here, but since I put them up above, I will put Carlos Correa going 442ft into the second deck in Minnesota for his first tater of the year. He crushed this ball.
