East
  • Yankees (8-2): Giancarlo Stanton hit a grand slam on Sunday that you probably heard from your house, his second home run in as many days, securing the series win against the Blue Jays.

  • Red Sox (7-3): Four homers on Sunday led to the series win over the Angels as Tanner Houck threw six innings, giving up no runs and sitting seven down on strikes. This pitching staff currently holds the lowest ERA in MLB at 1.49 over 90 IP. 🔥

  • Orioles (5-4): Gunnar Henderson nearly turned a game-winning double play but sailed the ball to first base, giving Pittsburgh the series after losing Saturday night in extra innings.

  • Rays (5-5): After a 5-run top-of-the-ninth comeback on Friday night, the Rays lost on a walk-off grand slam. However, they won the next two, and Ryan Pepoit had a career day in strikeouts on Sunday.

  • Blue Jays (4-6): This club dropped its second series in a row, as Kevin Gausman and Bowden Francis allowed a combined 11 runs on six hits, three homers, and five walks over 4.1 IP in back-to-back games.

Central
  • Guardians (7-2): Shane Bieber has to undergo Tommy John surgery after two great starts to open the season. Andrés Giménez's glove played a key part in Saturday’s 3-1 win for Cleveland’s 4th straight. Due to inclement weather, Sunday’s matchup against the Twins was rescheduled to August.

  • Tigers (6-3): The Tigers were red hot, but the A’s outscored them 11-1 in the last two days. Detroit will head to Pittsburgh for a tough two-game series.

  • Royals (6-4): MJ Melendez powers this team passed the White Sox as he has go-ahead home runs in back-to-back days to complete the four-game series sweep. 💥

  • Twins (3-4): After logging only two hits in a loss to Cleveland on Saturday, this team, who is currently ranked 29th in total runs scored, will need to get the bats hot as the Dodgers come to town for a three-game series.

  • White Sox (1-8): Garrett Crochet is now tied for the most strikeouts through the first three career starts in franchise history with Chris Sale. The offense struggled as this club got swept by the Royals.

West
  • Rangers (6-3): After winning Friday and Saturday’s games by a combined 13 runs, the offense struggled to get going on Sunday, registering just two hits.

  • Angels (5-4): In their lone win of the series, Reid Detmers tied a career-high 12 strikeouts on Saturday night. Nolan Schnauel's historic on-base streak to start his career is now over due to a retroactive stat correction to March 30th’s game, and the broadcast doesn’t hold back their thoughts.

  • Mariners (4-6): Andrés Muñoz walked four batters in the bottom of the ninth on Friday to let the Brewers literally walk it off. Bryce Miller dealt on Saturday night to give Seattle their only win of the series.

  • Astros (3-7): After his no-hitter on Monday, Ronel Blanco went into the sixth inning on Sunday with another no-hitter in the works when he allowed his only hit through his last 15 innings of work. Friday and Saturday, the pitching staff failed to keep Texas in check, allowing 17 runs over those two games.

  • Athletics (3-7): Zack Gelof’s triple and home run on Sunday helped propel this team to their second straight win. Mason Miller has thrown 29 pitches 100 mph or faster this season, 12 more than the next highest, Hunter Greene, who has thrown more than twice as many innings as Miller. ⛽️

National League
East
  • Braves (6-2): Atlanta completed the sweep of Arizona on Sunday with a wire-to-wire win after two big comebacks the previous two nights. Max Fried gave up six runs in the first inning, and Spencer Strider is being looked at for UCL damage.

  • Phillies (4-5): Nearly completing a three-game sweep, the Phils could only muster five hits on Sunday. J.T. Realmuto made the Nats pay with a three-run homer on Saturday night when they decided to intentionally walk Bryce Harper to bring Realmuto to the plate with two on and two outs. 😤

  • Mets (3-6): Edwin Díaz got the save in Friday and Sunday’s win, which should all but seal his win in a bet with his brother. J.D. Martinez experienced “overall body soreness,” which set him back but could set him up to make his Mets debut as early as Friday.

  • Nationals (3-6): After dropping the first two games in the series to the Phillies, the Nats were able to win Sunday’s game thanks in part to McKenzie Gore, who gave up five hits through 5.1 IP, but also to a strong bullpen backing him up, which did not allow a single hit for the rest of the game.

  • Marlins (1-9): Thanks to a six-run first inning in Sunday's win, MLB has no more winless teams. Max Meyer logged his first career win, going six innings and allowing just three hits.

Central
  • Pirates (8-2): A potential game-ending double play turned into a walk-off win for Pittsburgh to secure the series win on Sunday. Jared Jones had another strong outing on Friday, bringing his strikeout total to 17. His 43 swings and misses are the most through two starts in the pitch-tracking era (2008).

  • Brewers (6-2): After a 9th-inning walk-off win on Friday, William Contreras hit two home runs in Sunday’s 12-4 win over the Mariners, sealing the club's series victory. 💪

  • Cubs (6-3): Shota Imanaga allowed just two hits over four innings before a rain delay cut his day short on Sunday in Chicago’s series rubber-match win.

  • Reds (5-4): Cincinnati lost its first series of the season mainly because its offense went 3-28 with runners in scoring position through the three games.

  • Cardinals (5-5): After winning the first two games against Miami, the Cards failed to complete the sweep as Kyle Gibson allowed seven earned runs through 6 IP. Sonny Gray will return to the mound Tuesday night for his St. Louis debut.

West
  • Dodgers (8-4): Yoshinobu Yamamoto led the Dodgers to their only win of the series against the Cubs, striking out eight batters over five innings and allowing zero runs. Sloppy defense and less-than-stellar starting pitching led to the other two losses.

  • Padres (5-7): A double play turned error allowed the Giants to come back in the bottom of the eighth inning on Sunday, all but sealing San Diego’s loss of the series. The lone win of the series on Saturday came on the back of a Jurickson Profar grand slam coupled with a stellar Michael King outing.

  • Diamondbacks (4-6): After having a big lead on Friday and Saturday, the Snakes let the Braves come back to win both and finish off the sweep on Sunday. They’ll head to Colorado in hopes of putting this series behind them. 😬

  • Giants (4-6): After a walk-off win in their home opener on Friday and a strong Jordan Hicks start, Logan Webb gave up 10 hits but just 2 runs through seven innings on Sunday, keeping the Giants within striking distance. They were able to pull off some late-inning heroics to win the series over the Padres.

  • Rockies (2-8): A walk-off grand slam on Friday night led to the only win Colorado could get in a close series with Tampa Bay.
