American League
East
Yankees (43-19, v. MIN): Luis Gil continued to dominate on Tuesday night, allowing just one hit through six scoreless innings and leading the team to a series-opening win. Giancarlo Stanton hit his 15th home run of the year, making him, Judge, and Soto the first trio of Yankees to hit 15+ homers through the team’s first 62 games. 💪
Orioles (39-20, @ TOR): Grayson Rodriguez allowed two runs, one of which was earned, on Monday. Austin Hays hit his first two home runs of the year to secure a win in the series opener. Following that performance, Corbin Burnes also allowed one run while pitching seven innings of one-run ball. Connor Norby hit his first career home run, and Ryan Mountcastle had his fourth career multi-homer game against the Blue Jays to secure Baltimore’s 20th consecutive series win against AL East opponents.
Red Sox (30-31, v. ATL): They allowed eight runs for the second straight game as Kutter Crawford gave up four or more earned runs for his third consecutive start in Tuesday’s loss, raising his ERA from 2.17 on May 18th to 3.51 today.
Rays (30-31, @ MIA): After giving up three runs in the first inning, Ryan Pepiot settled in and struck out eight batters over six innings. Brandon Lowe hit a three-run homer to kick off the scoring, leading to nine runs in the fourth and fifth innings combined, securing the win.
Blue Jays (28-32, v. BAL): They scored just three runs, two on solo homers, in Monday’s and Tuesday’s losses to Baltimore. The pitching staff allowed 17 runs and has yet to take the lead in the series.
Central
Guardians (40-20, v. KC): Josh Naylor and Tyler Freeman both hit two-run homers in Tuesday night’s series-opening win. Triston McKenzie pitched 5.1 innings, allowing five runs, but MLB’s best bullpen, based on ERA, didn’t allow a run to close out the game after the offense capitalized on an error.
Royals (36-26, @ CLE): Bobby Witt Jr. hit two-run home runs in back-to-back innings last night, but a costly error with two outs that allowed three runs overshadowed his achievement as they lost the series opener. Seth Lugo allowed five runs, the most in an outing of his season, in six innings, which raised his ERA to 2.13. 😞
Twins (33-27, @ NYY): Royce Lewis didn’t miss a beat after returning to the lineup from his injured list stint. He hit a solo home run and drew two walks, but the Twins still fell to 0-4 against the Yankees this season.
Tigers (31-30, @ TEX): On Monday, Tarik Skubal pitched six innings of one-run ball while Jake Rogers hit two solo home runs, contributing to a narrow one-run win. Jack Flaherty also performed well on Tuesday, pitching five scoreless innings before exiting the game due to back tightness. They secured the series win with two more home runs.
White Sox (15-46, @ CHC): They tied their second-longest losing streak in franchise history on Tuesday night after losing a one-run game to their cross-town rivals. Luis Robert Jr. hit a homer as he returned to the lineup from the IL, but Tommy Pham took his place on the IL with an ankle sprain.
West
Mariners (35-27, @ OAK): Andrés Muñoz was forced to exit the game after throwing a wild pitch and colliding with Max Schuemann at the plate while attempting to prevent the run. Two RBIs from Ty France helped lead them to the one-run win as they improved to 25-0 when leading after seven innings.
Rangers (29-32, v. DET): Marcus Semien hit a leadoff home run on Monday, but the team didn’t score again until Tuesday with one out left in the ninth inning, resulting in two consecutive losses. 🫣
Astros (28-34, v. STL): Yanier Diaz hit home runs in consecutive games, driving in five runs to help secure the series win. The pitching staff continued to be plagued by injuries as Spencer Arrighetti had to exit due to a calf contusion.
Athletics (24-38, v. SEA): Mitch Spence started his fourth career game on Tuesday, and while he threw six innings, his longest outing yet, he allowed four earned runs as the A’s fell to 9-18 against teams over .500.
Angels (23-38, v. SD): They snapped their season-long losing streak on Monday with a one-run win. Tyler Anderson pitched 6.2 innings, allowing just one run, which was a solo shot in the first inning. Then, Patrick Sandoval delivered a similar performance on Tuesday, pitching six innings of one-run ball as they won their second consecutive game.

National League
East
Phillies (43-19, v. MIL): Zack Wheeler and Cristopher Sánchez both had one-run outings as Philadelphia won both games. Matt Strahm played a critical role out of the bullpen again, as he hasn’t allowed a run since Opening Day, a span of 25 games, which ties a franchise record. Aaron Nola will look to finish the sweep today. 🧹
Braves (34-24, @ BOS): Max Fried recorded a career-high 13 strikeouts in seven innings, allowing four runs, three earned. Orlando Arcia and Ozzie Albies both homered to secure their first win on a nine-game road trip.
Nationals (27-33, v. NYM): Jesse Winker had three RBIs on Monday, but allowing six earned runs by MacKenzie Gore proved to be too much to overcome as the team's record fell to 4-10 in one-run ball games. Winker had another strong performance on Tuesday, scoring all three of the Nationals' runs, but it wasn't sufficient to avoid losing the series.
Mets (26-35, @ WSH): They secured a one-run win on Monday night despite Adam Ottovino allowing two ninth-inning runs, which nearly gave the game away. Following Tuesday's victory, they are now 13-14 on the road after Harrison Bader and Pete Alonso both hit home runs in the game.
Marlins (21-40, v. TB): Scoring three runs in the bottom of the first wasn’t enough to secure the win as Jesús Luzardo took his fifth loss of the year, only able to go 4.1 innings while allowing nine hits, and nine runs.
Central
Brewers (36-25, v. CWS): Jared Koenig became the fourth pitcher since 1969 to start consecutive games more than once in a season. He allowed just one hit while striking out two through 2.1 IP combined on Monday and Tuesday. However, the offense only put up one run in each game, resulting in back-to-back losses. 😬
Cubs🔼(30-31, v. CWS): Christopher Morel committed an error that resulted in a five-run inning by the White Sox. However, he redeemed himself by hitting a two-run homer and ultimately scoring the game-deciding run in the bottom of the eighth inning to make up for his mistake.
Cardinals🔽(28-31, @ HOU): Alec Burleson and Nolan Gorman hit home runs in their third consecutive game on Tuesday. Unfortunately, their efforts were insufficient to win the series' first two games, as they allowed seven and eight runs, respectively.
Pirates (28-32, v. LAD): Jared Jones cranked up the heat to 101 mph as he struck out six over six scoreless innings on Tuesday, and the Bucs teamed up for a four-pitcher shutout. Despite the offense’s struggles, Jack Suwinski hit a solo homer in the third inning to score the game's only run.
Reds (28-33, @ COL): The offense erupted on Monday, scoring 13 runs, which is the most they've scored all season. On Tuesday, Frankie Montas pitched seven scoreless innings to secure the series win. They will now aim to complete the sweep tonight and end their six-game road trip with five wins.
West
Dodgers (38-24, @ PIT): The offense went 0-for-12 with RISP last night as Tyler Glasnow struck out nine batters over six innings and allowed just one run, but that’s all that was needed to open the six-game road trip with a loss. 😞
Padres (32-32, @ LAA): Manny Machado has driven in two of the team's three runs over the last two games, but unfortunately, they lost both games and have now lost three straight. They have been unable to take advantage of strong back-to-back starting pitching performances. On Monday, Matt Waldron pitched 6.1 innings, allowing only one run, and Adam Mazur also pitched six innings, allowing just one run in his first career start.
Diamondbacks🔼(29-32, v. SF): After tying their season-long losing streak on May 31st, the team has now matched their season-long win streak by winning four straight games to start June. Pavin Smith's walk-off homer on Monday night sealed the win, and Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Gabriel Moreno, and Kevin Newman each had two RBIs in Tuesday's victory.
Giants🔽(29-33, @ AZ): On Monday, they were two outs away from heading to extra innings, but Randy Rodríguez allowed a two-run homer, and they got walked off. Unfortunately, they weren't any luckier on Tuesday as they dropped their season-high sixth straight game of the season. This was due to Luke Jackson allowing four earned runs while recording just two outs after Kyle Harrison allowed four and exited the game in the sixth.
Rockies (21-39, v. CIN): After only scoring more than one run in one game out of four in June, the team lost their fourth consecutive game, after ending May with just one game above .500. They have also given up at least four runs in each of the last four games. Dakota Hudson, who has a 5.02 ERA through 57.1 innings this year, will be pitching today.
