American League
East
Orioles (24-12, @ WSH): After blowing a 2-run lead in the 9th inning on Wednesday, Jorge Mateo had a go-ahead RBI single and scored on a wild pitch to give the O’s a 2-run lead in the top of the 12th and the win. Jackson Holliday homered in AAA to give some hope that he has found his swing again since being sent back to the Minors. 🤞
Yankees (25-14, v. HOU): Aaron Judge homered for the second time in as many games with a 473-foot tater, but the Yankees, who were 6-0 against the Astros so far this season, finally lost the game 4-3 and failed to secure the series sweep.
Red Sox (19-18, @ ATL): There was no offense on Wednesday for Boston as they managed seven hits, nine left on base, and no runs while striking out 13 times, including ten against former Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale in a 5-0 loss to the Braves.
Rays (19-19, v. CWS): Aaron Civale does not like the 5th inning as he could not get through it for his fourth consecutive start. Tampa could only put up one run and lost the game 4-1, breaking their five-game win streak.
Blue Jays (17-20, @ PHI): They held a team meeting after allowing 10+ runs in back-to-back games against different opponents, and it seemed to have a positive outcome as a strong outing from Chris Bassitt, who went 6.1 innings, allowing just two runs and striking out six as they snapped the Phils 7-game win streak.
Central
Guardians (24-14, v. DET/@ CWS): Back-to-back taters from José Ramírez and Josh Naylor in the eighth would be the only offense for the Guardians, who were unable to complete the comeback against the White Sox, falling 3-2.
Twins (22-15, v. SEA): Rocking a 15-2 record over the last two and a half weeks, the Twins capped off their 5th straight series win with a bang, scoring 11 runs with the help of a 5-run first inning. Pablo López won his third straight with a season-high ten strikeouts.
Royals (23-16, v. MIL/@ LAA): There was plenty of offense for KC as they scored ten runs in Thursday night's game, including this 2-run bomb by Vinnie Pasquantino. Dairon Blanco became the first player since Larry Walker in 1996 to have a bunt for a hit, a double, a home run, and two stolen bases.
Tigers (19-18, @ CLE): Reese Olson was great on the mound, allowing just one earned run and one hit through six innings. A blown save in the 9th from Andrew Chafin meant extra innings for the game, and Brayan Rocchio walked it off to hand the Tigers their fifth loss in six games.
White Sox (10-28, @ TB/v. CLE): Erick Fedde moved to 3-0 as he threw six scoreless innings and moved them into double-digit wins, including four of their last six games. 🎢
West
Rangers (22-17, @ OAK): Jack Leiter was called up to the Majors again, and his performance was slightly better this time. He allowed four runs through four innings. On Wednesday, they split the doubleheader.
Mariners (20-18, @ MIN): Logan Gilbert, who had allowed four runs in his previous five starts combined, struggled against the Twins. He allowed five runs in the first inning and eight runs total through just four innings, and the Mariners lost the game and the series.
Athletics (18-21, v. TEX): Shea Langeliers became the first Oakland player to homer in both doubleheader games since 1999, as they split the games with the Rangers. Mason Miller continues to dominate the mound, having struck out 33 out of the 60 batters he has pitched against this year.
Angels (14-24, @ PIT/v. KC): Reid Detmers' struggles on the mound continue; he has an 8.74 ERA and allowed seven home runs in his last four outings. Thursday night, he went five innings, allowing six earned runs, including two home runs in the Angels 10-4 loss. 😬
Astros (13-24, @ NYY): Jon Singleton crushed a 2-run blast and had a crucial snag in the bottom of the 9th that helped the Astros get their first win against the Yankees this season as Ronel Blanco picked up his fourth win to go 4-0 on the season.

National League
East
Phillies (26-12, v. TOR): Aaron Nola was hit nine times in Wednesday’s loss. He allowed four runs while the offense only scored three. The Phillies will take MLB’s best record to Miami, which should help them stay hot. 🔥
Braves (22-12, v. BOS): Marcell Ozuna homered twice to boost his total to 12, giving him sole possession of the home run king title. Chris Sale threw six scoreless innings against his former team while striking out ten.
Mets🔼(18-18, @ STL): This team should be well-rested to host Atlanta this weekend after a rainout on Wednesday and an off day on Thursday.
Nationals🔽(18-18, v. BAL): On Wednesday, the Nationals came back with a two-run bottom of the ninth to send the game to extra innings. However, they could not finish the win, losing in the 12th inning.
Marlins (10-29, @ LAD): Miami dropped their third straight game on Wednesday, capping off a sweep by the Dodgers. They put just two runners into scoring position and scored their only run on a Bryan De La Cruz homer.
Central
Brewers (22-15, @ KC/v. STL): Two solo shots from Joey Ortiz and Jake Bauers, paired with a two-run tater from Rhys Hoskins, helped this team cruise to victory on Thursday to open a four-game series. This team is currently tied for the second-highest OPS across MLB
Cubs (22-16, v. SD): Putting just one hit on the board on Wednesday led Chicago to drop the series and will now hit the road for six games, with the first stop being in Pittsburgh.
Pirates (17-21, v. LAA): Martín Pérez allowed four runs on eight hits in Wednesday’s one-run loss, but it’s all eyes on Saturday as third overall prospect Paul Skenes will take the mound for his MLB debut.
Reds (16-21, v. AZ): After dropping their eighth consecutive game, this team is on its longest losing streak of the season and will now have to hit the road for a ten-game trip. They currently have the lowest team batting average in the majors. 🫣
Cardinals (15-22, v. NYM/@ MIL): A rainout on Wednesday pushed back Sonny Gray’s start a day, and we’ll use that as the excuse for him allowing six runs on seven hits in Thursday’s loss. This raised Gray’s ERA from 0.89 to 2.29.
West
Dodgers (26-13, v. MIA): They finished their second consecutive sweep at home, this time against Miami, as Gavin Stone threw seven innings of one-run ball. They’ll now hit the road for six games starting in San Diego. 🧹
Padres (20-20, @ CHC): Dylan Cease threw seven scoreless innings in a shutout series win on Wednesday. He allowed just one hit and struck out 12 while only walking two. Pretty, pretty, good.
Diamondbacks (18-20, @ CIN): They completed their first series sweep of the season and now have their longest win streak of the year (4). This streak will be tested this weekend as they head to Baltimore.
Giants (17-22, @ COL): After scoring eight runs in Wednesday’s win, the offense scored just one run on Thursday, failing to complete the sweep. Keaton Winn had a rough outing, allowing seven runs through 3.2 innings.
Rockies (9-28, v. SF): Cal Quantrill had a strong outing as he went six innings of one-run ball in Thursday’s win. The offense erupted in the fourth inning as they scored seven, helping this team inch closer to double-digit wins.
