East
Orioles (19-10, v. NYY): After shutting out the Yankees on Monday night, Dean Kremer allowed just two runs on Tuesday to set up the bullpen to close it out. Baltimore now has MLB’s best record against teams with a record over .500, and Corbin Burnes will take the mound today to keep that going.
Yankees (19-12, @ BAL): Juan Soto's 447 homer wasn’t enough offense to keep up with Baltimore as the Yankees continue their boom-or-bust habits, dropping the series' first two.
Red Sox (17-13, v. SF): Despite all the injuries they have dealt with, the Sox finish the first month of baseball with the best ERA in MLB, winning their third straight in a 4-0 win over SF.
Blue Jays (15-16, v. KC): After winning Monday’s game by one run, the offense could only get three runners into scoring position on Tuesday, while Jose Berríos had to take the loss after going seven innings of two-run ball.
Rays (14-17, @ MIL): Tampa bounced back on Monday after being swept by the White Sox with a one-run shutout win over Milwaukee. On Tuesday, the bats weren’t swinging, but the punches were, as the Rays lost 8-2 in a game where the benches cleared. 🥊
Central
Guardians (19-10, v. BOS): On Tuesday, a five-run sixth inning tied the game and sent it to extra innings, Cleveland’s third straight extra-innings game, but for the second game in a row, they were handed a loss in the bottom of the tenth. 😞
Royals (18-13 @ TOR): Cole Ragans struck out nine through 6.2 IP as the Royals snapped a 3-game losing streak on Tuesday to set their franchise record with 17 wins in April. The 2023 Royals didn’t win their 17th game until May 29th of last year, and their 18th didn’t come until after June 1st.
Tigers (17-13, @ STL): In a Tuesday doubleheader, Jack Flaherty tied the AL record with seven straight strikeouts to start the game and ended his performance with 14 total strikeouts through 6.2 IP, yet the Tigers lost the game 2-1. They bounced back in the night game, winning 11-6 with the help of Riley Greene, who homered in both games.
Twins (16-13, @ CWS): Minnesota extended MLB’s best win streak to nine on Tuesday night as they capped off their second straight one-run win over the White Sox. This is the Twins longest win streak since ‘08.
White Sox (6-24, v. MIN): Just when we thought the White Sox would make a run in the AL after sweeping the Rays, they narrowly lost the last two games against the Twins to move their divisional record to 2-17.
West
Mariners (17-13, v. ATL): With wins on Monday and Tuesday, Seattle has now won five straight series and is tied with Philadelphia for the best record in MLB over the last 14 games with an 11-3 record. Their 1.61 ERA since 4/10 (18 games) is the best in franchise history in an 18-game span and MLB since ‘17.
Rangers (16-14, v. WSH): In Tuesday's win, Jon Gray allowed one run through eight innings, surrendering just three hits. Max Scherzer missed his rehab start due to a sore thumb on Tuesday, which seems like just a minor setback for the three-time Cy Young.
Athletics (14-17, v. PIT): Scoring 5+ runs for the third consecutive game, Oakland took both Monday & Tuesday’s game against Pittsburgh. They’ve won five of their last six and are now 10-0 when leading after seven innings, thanks to their bullpen, who have allowed zero runs over their last 23.1 IP. ⛽️
Angels (11-19, v. PHI): Mike Trout suffered a torn meniscus on Monday, requiring surgery, but he should be back at some point this season. After winning Monday’s game, they allowed three runs in the ninth in Tuesday’s loss.
Astros (10-19, v. CLE): With a walk-off 2-run blast by Victor Caratini in the bottom of the tenth, Houston got their season-high third straight win, and this team has scored 30 runs in their last three games.

National League
East
Braves (19-9, @ SEA): Max Fried took a no-hitter through six innings on Monday, but the Braves were also held to no hits through six, dropping the series opener on a walk-off homer. Atlanta will look to avoid the series sweep tonight after running into another stellar Seattle pitching performance on Tuesday.
Phillies (20-11, @ LAA): After being held to just one extra-base hit on Monday and dropping the series opener, the bats awaken in the top of the ninth on Tuesday for two homers, sealing the comeback victory. 💪
Mets (15-14, v. CHC): Despite Luis Severino taking a no-hitter through seven innings on Monday (he gave up a hit once I turned the game on), Edwin Diaz was unable to keep the ball in the park as the Cubs took the series opener. DJ Stewart hit a three-run tater on Tuesday to secure the win.
Nationals (14-15, @ TEX): Hot off of a four-game sweep in Miami, the Nats headed to Texas only to find out the competition is a bit stiffer there. They scored their only run in the first inning and were held to just three hits in Tuesday’s loss.
Marlins (7-24, v. COL): After Washington completed the four-game series sweep on Monday, a five-run bottom of the ninth extended Tuesday’s game against Colorado to extra innings. Miami won, snapping their seven-game losing streak, thanks to Dane Myers's RBI single in the 11th after he knocked in two runs on a single in the ninth. Dane was only in the game because Jazz Chisholm Jr. was ejected earlier due to arguing a strike three call.
Central
Brewers (18-11, v. TB): On Tuesday night, the Brewers snapped a three-game losing streak. The benches cleared as Abner Uribe and Jose Siri let their hands fly after Freddy Peralta and Pat Murphy were ejected earlier in the night.
Cubs (18-12, @ NYM): After being held to no hits through seven innings on Monday night, the Cubs found a way to win as Christopher Morel took Edwin Diaz deep for the game-winning runs. They weren’t as fortunate Tuesday night, as the offense managed just four hits and went 0-for-7 with RISP.
Reds (16-14, @ SD): Nick Lodolo sat down 11 on strikes, leading this team to victory on Monday, but Tuesday night’s pitching performance from Nick Martinez left fans wishing it was the other Nick on the mound after he allowed five runs in the loss.
Cardinals (14-16, @ DET): Two very different pitching performances in Tuesday’s doubleheader. Kyle Gibson pitched seven innings of one-run ball and struck out seven as the Cardinals won the first game, but Stephen Matz pitched 3.1 IP, sitting one down on strikes and allowing four runs, forcing the split of the doubleheader.
Pirates (14-17, @ OAK): Pittsburgh has been outscored 10-3 in the last two games against the A’s and has gone 0-for-8 with RISP through the two games. They’ll look to avoid their fourth straight loss and a series sweep today.
West
Dodgers (19-13, @ AZ): After decisively winning Monday night and not logging a single strikeout on offense for the first time since ‘06, and the first time for any team at Chase Field, the Dodgers lost in the tenth inning last night and will have Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound for tonight’s series rubber match.
Giants (14-16, @ BOS): Logan Webb was rocked on Tuesday. He could not get through four innings, allowing four runs on nine hits and three walks in a shutout loss. The offense put just four runners in scoring position, unable to drive any home.
Padres (14-18, @ COL): The decision to accept a catcher interference call on Tuesday night while on offense paid off as Manny Machado drove home three runs on a double immediately after, leading to the win. Joe Musgrove will take the mound today in a series rubber match.
Diamondbacks (14-17, v. LAD): A nearly two-hour delay caused by bees left the Dbacks unable to use Jordan Montgomery as was planned, but Christian Walker came to the rescue with two home runs, the second to walk it off in the tenth inning. 🐝
Rockies (7-22, @ MIA): After a five-run first inning and a shutout through eight innings, Colorado let Miami score five runs in the bottom of the ninth, helping propel the Marlins to a tenth-inning victory.
