American League
East
Yankees (37-18, @ SD): They got their seventh consecutive series win as Anthony Volpe extended his hit streak to 19 games. Aaron Judge has been red hot as he became the first player in history with 12+ doubles and 11+ homers in a 20-game span. 🤩
Orioles (33-18, @ CWS): After being swept in their previous series, Baltimore swept the White Sox, capped off by seven no-hit innings and 11 strikeouts from Kyle Bradish. Craig Kimbrel got his 12th save of the year and has not allowed a hit, run, or walk in his last 6.2 innings.
Red Sox (27-26, v. MIL): They avoided the series sweep in a game where the benches cleared after an altercation with the Brewers’ first base coach. Tanner Houck threw six innings, allowing just one run as he lowered his ERA to 1.90, the 2nd-best in the AL.
Rays (26-28, v. KC): Tampa ended their season-long losing streak (6) on Sunday and avoided back-to-back sweeps as they took down the Royals with help from a Brandon Lowe pinch-hit, 3-run triple, and Taj Bradley threw five scoreless.
Blue Jays (23-29, @ DET): Despite scoring their season-high in runs on Sunday, they still lost as they allowed their season-high in runs as well. They lost all three games against the Tigers as this team fell to 8-13 on the month.
Central
Guardians (36-17, @ LAA): José Ramírez became the first player this season to surpass 50 RBIs as Cleveland stays red hot, winning 12 out of 13 games and nine straight as they have swept the last three teams they played. 🔥
Royals (34-20, @ TB): Their eight-game win streak ended on Sunday, and they could not complete their third straight series sweep. Their only offense came on a solo shot from Bobby Witt Jr. in the sixth.
Twins (28-24, v. TEX): Pablo López fell to 4-5 while allowing six runs on seven hits in 4.2 innings in his third straight loss. Minnesota has had a very streaky season of winning and losing streaks and will look to avoid another losing streak as they host Kansas City.
Tigers (26-27, v. TOR): Matt Vierling mashed two taters, including a walk-off 3-run drive in the 9th to lead the Tigers over Toronto in an offense-heavy 14-11 win. After losing five straight, the Tigers have now won their last three games and will look to carry that momentum against Pittsburgh.
White Sox (15-39, v. BAL): They managed just one hit on Sunday as the last-place White Sox have lost five straight and nine of ten. Good news for Chicago as Luis Robert Jr. is expected to begin a rehab assignment with AAA after suffering a right hip flexor strain earlier in the season.
West
Mariners (28-26, @ WSH): Julio Rodriguez's 4 RBIs helped lead the Mariners past the Nationals, stopping a 4-game losing streak for Seattle and avoiding being swept by Washington. Despite being the only team with a winning record in the West, no team in this division has a positive run differential. Seattle, Texas, and Houston are in the negative single digits.
Rangers (25-29, @ MIN): Corey Seager homered twice and now has six homers through six games to help put Texas’ 6-game losing streak to rest and avoid a sweep to Minnesota. Their next series will be a World Series rematch against Arizona.
Astros (24-29, @ OAK): Kyle Tucker hit his MLB-leading 18th home run, and Ronel Blanco was great on the mound, going seven innings, allowing just one run and four hits as he returned from suspension, helping the Astros take down the A’s to win the series on Sunday.
Athletics (22-33, v. HOU): Oakland allowed just one earned run in the game, but after a costly double-error by Max Schuemann, the Astros scored four unearned runs and took the 5-2 win over Oakland to take the series.
Angels (20-33, v. CLE): The Angels fell to 6-19 at home, the worst home record winning percentage of any MLB team in 85 years, as they were swept by the Guardians and have now lost four of five. 🫣

National League
East
Phillies (38-16, @ COL): After splitting the first two games of the series via comeback wins, Ranger Suárez, who had won his last nine starts, took the mound on Sunday and allowed four earned runs through six innings while the offense had just five hits in the series rubber-match loss.
Braves (30-20, @ PIT): They lost the first two games of the series, and despite winning on Sunday, it felt like a loss as Ronald Acuña Jr. tore his ACL in the first inning and will miss the remainder of the season. 😞
Nationals (23-28, v. SEA): They won the first two games of the series as they held the Mariners to one run in each, but couldn’t close out the sweep on Sunday as they allowed a combined five runs in the last two innings.
Mets (22-30, v. SF): Allowing the Giants to post two comeback wins in the series’ first two games, they had a comeback of their own to avoid the sweep. They scored three runs in the ninth inning after getting the bases loaded to walk it off.
Marlins (19-35, @ AZ): With their fourth straight series win, they moved to one game above .500 during this month. They have the third-lowest total runs scored in MLB and have scored more than three runs in just one of their last seven games, a testament to their recent pitching performances.
Central
Brewers (30-22, @ BOS): Although they were able to win the first two games of the series by scoring 6+ runs, they scored just one yesterday and could not finish the sweep. They’ll now head home for seven games after playing their last nine on the road.
Cubs (27-26, @ STL): After Friday’s game was rained out and postponed to July 13th, they lost the two games remaining of the series to extend their season-long losing streak to four. They’ve won just three of their last ten games as they head to Milwaukee for Craig Counsell’s first time back since leaving them this offseason.
Cardinals (25-26, v. CHC): They won the two games of the series by one run in each and are now on their longest win streak of the year (5) after sweeping Baltimore and Chicago back-to-back. Paul Goldschmidt homered twice yesterday, driving in all four runs in the win.
Pirates (25-29, v. ATL): They won the first two games of this series by a combined nine runs, but that offensive momentum was halted on Sunday as they lost while scoring just one run on five hits. Martín Pérez and Joey Bart both left early due to injuries yesterday, and the Braves offense took advantage of that, putting up eight runs.
Reds (23-30, v. LAD): Having been swept by the Dodgers in LA just two series ago, Cincinnati answered back with a series sweep of their own against LA at home. They held the Dodgers to just one run in the last two games, and despite not stealing a base this weekend, Elly De La Cruz still has more stolen bases than 16 MLB teams. 🧹
West
Dodgers (33-22, @ CIN): After dropping all three series games, this team is now on their longest losing streak of the year (5) as they head to New York to face the Mets and finish off a six-game road trip. They’ve scored one or fewer runs in three of those five losses. 😬
Padres (28-28, v. NYY): With just one run scored through the first two games of the series, the Padres got some offense going on Sunday as they posted a four-run sixth inning, which alone was enough to avoid the series sweep. Jeremiah Estrada broke a franchise record with 10 consecutive strikeouts from his last outing on Thursday.
Giants (27-27, @ NYM): On Friday night, the Giants became just the fourth team to come back by four or more runs to win in three consecutive games. They had another comeback win on Saturday as they scored in the ninth to send it to extras, where they won. Believe it or not, they were involved in another comeback on Sunday, but this time on the wrong side, as the Mets scored three in the ninth to walk it off to avoid the sweep.
Diamondbacks (25-28, v. MIA): As you would expect, this team dropped the series to Miami at home after coming off a win against the Dodgers in LA. They didn’t allow more than three runs in a game during the series but scored 0, 3, and 1 run in the three games, respectively. The offense posted 15 hits through the series.
Rockies (18-34, v. PHI): Logging their sixth consecutive quality start from their starting pitcher on Sunday, they came away with the series win, which marked the third series win out of the last five. Ryan McMahon hit his 10th homer of the year to give them a lead in the first inning on Sunday that they didn’t let up.
