  • Orioles: Outfield prospect Kyle Stowers goes deep again, this time left on left. 💪

  • Rays: Francisco Mejia rejoins the Rays on a minor league deal.

  • Red Sox: Tristan Casas is expected to return on Saturday after being out with the flu.

  • Yankees: Prospect Clayton Beeter tosses three scoreless innings and sits down four on strikes.

  • Tigers: Potential Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal looks great in his first Spring start.

  • Twins: Jhoan Duran broke 100 mph just four separate times on Wednesday. 🤏

  • White Sox: Eloy Jiménez is off to a strong start this Spring, going 6-9 & five RBIs. 💪

West
  • Angels: A fan who brought big letters to spell out ‘Trout’ for his debut gets to meet the man himself. ❤️

  • Astros: GM Dana Brown says he has no concerns over Verlander’s shoulder, and they’ll make Bregman an offer at some point this year.

  • Athletics: Ryan Noda & Zack Gelof go back-to-back at-bats with homers. 🤜 🤛

  • Mariners: MLB’s No. 37 prospect, Cole Young, sends his first tater of the Spring.

  • Rangers: Still figuring out what to do with Cody Bradford, he’ll be preparing for both a starter and reliever role this Spring.

NL Rundown

East
  • Braves: Spencer Strider’s new curveball looks impressive. 🤩

  • Marlins: Tim Anderson goes 0-2 with 2k’s in his Marlins debut.

  • Mets: Pete Alonso goes yard for the first time this Spring. In a contract year, I expect the polar bear the mash this season.

  • Nationals: Back with the James Wood highlights as he sends his third homer 411ft on 111.6 exit velocity. 🤯

  • Phillies: $1 Hot Dog promos are over after last year fans were throwing Hot Dogs at each other last season during this promotion. 😆

Central
  • Brewers: Freddy Peralta will make his debut on Sunday as he starts to get ramped up for a Cy Young bid this season.

  • Cardinals: Victor Scott, who stole 94 bases in the minors last year, is a player to watch this Spring. 💨

  • Cubs: Key offseason signing Shota Imanaga will make his Spring debut on Saturday. 👀

  • Pirates: Paul Skenes hit 102 mph on his fastball while also getting top prospect Jackson Holliday to ground out. ⛽️

  • Reds: Alexis Díaz strikes out the side in his Spring debut.

West
  • Diamondbacks: It’s a competitive battle for the fifth rotation spot as Ryne Nelson & Tommy Henry continue to deal. ⚔️

  • Dodgers: Yoshinobu Yamamoto went 2 innings, 19 pitches, 9 swings & misses, 3 strikeouts, and zero runs in his debut. 🔥

  • Giants: This offseason's biggest signing for SF, Jung Hoo Lee, homers for the first time as a Giant; the furthest statcast tracked ball on Thursday at 418ft. 💥

  • Padres: A new addition to the team and MLB, Woo-Suk Go, struck out two in his scoreless inning debut.

  • Rockies: Sam Hilliard is back with the Rox as they looked to add another left-handed outfielder.

⚾️ Today’s Tater

The second longest statcast tracked home run of the Wednesday goes to Michael Harris, who launched this ball 432ft, only to be outdone by his teammate Chadwick Tromp at 434ft. Thanks for sending this one in, Doug!
